Know Before You Go

You may come across several different spellings of the town (Porto Heli, Porto Cheli, Porto Xeli) but they all are the same, meaning ‘The Bay of Eel’.

Don’t forget your white/light neutral cocktail attire for Welcome Party!

The weather will be quite warm, with highs during the day in the high 80’s / low 90’s, and lows in the mid 60’s at night. There are occasional summer rain storms, but fairly rare. The sea temperature will be warm, around 75 degrees.

The beaches in Porto Heli are rocky! Some might like to bring water shoes or at least sandals easy to traverse a slightly rocky walk to the beach.

Some people like to have bug repellent, just in case.
